Storytime Baker was inspired by two very special people — my niece and nephew, Indie and Jasper. My own kids have outgrown bedtime stories, but these two reminded me of the magic that happens when a child hears their own name in a story.
Indie ✨
Indie is nine years old and absolutely brilliant. She's a star at gymnastics — fearless on the beam and graceful in everything she does. She's super smart, loves school, and reads everything she can get her hands on. She's beautiful inside and out, with the kind of confidence that lights up a room. When we told her she could be the hero of her own story, her eyes went wide. When we told her she could also be the villain, she couldn't stop laughing.
Jasper ⚽
Jasper is six and an absolute cheeky monkey. He's Arsenal through and through — Bukayo Saka is his hero, and he'll tell anyone who'll listen. He's full of energy, full of mischief, and full of the kind of imagination that turns a cardboard box into a spaceship and a garden hose into a dragon. Every story we made for him, he wanted "more dragons" and "more goals." We love him for it.
