These terms govern your use of the Storytime Baker application ("the App") and website ("the Site"), operated by mendmyi Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, with registered address at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU.

1. Acceptance

By using the App or Site, you agree to these terms. If you are a parent or guardian allowing a child to use the App, you accept these terms on their behalf.

2. The Service

Storytime Baker is a children's story creation app that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised bedtime stories. Stories are generated based on character names, scenes, and preferences you select.

3. Age Requirements

The App is designed for children aged 3-8 with parental involvement. A parent or guardian must set up kid profiles and is responsible for the content entered (names, custom characters). Users under 13 should not use the App without parental consent.

4. Content

4.1 Generated Stories

Stories are generated by AI and are unique each time. While we instruct the AI to produce age-appropriate, positive content, we cannot guarantee every word of every story. Parents should review stories if they have concerns.

4.2 User-Entered Content

All names and text entered by users pass through our content safety filter. We reserve the right to reject content that is inappropriate, offensive, or contains personal information (addresses, phone numbers, etc.).

4.3 Shared Stories

If you choose to share a story publicly, it will be reviewed by our moderation team. We reserve the right to reject or remove shared stories at our discretion. Character names are replaced with generic placeholders in shared stories.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App offers a free tier (1 story per day) and premium subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Subscriptions.

6. Intellectual Property

The Storytime Baker name, Baker Bear character, and all default character designs are the intellectual property of mendmyi Limited. Stories generated for you are yours to keep and share with family, but may not be commercially published or sold.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
